Weekend Line-up: NFL

NFL

Hopefully the weekend will be more about football than who is kneeling and who is standing (if you have not read the post about that one yet do by clicking here.  Maybe together we can stop the country from getting their news from memes #dreambig). And hopefully we will have some interesting story lines developing, because parity has been the story so far. And parity is a little boring.

Games to keep an eye on:

Detroit (2-1) at Minnesota (2-1)

Sunday @ 12 pm

Detroit wants to be a contender as does Minnesota who both share a division with the always reliable Green Bay Packers. The victor here gets one step closer to unseating the Packers who won on Thursday.

Rams (2-1) at Cowboys (2-1)

Sunday @ 12 pm

Not quite sure what to make of either of these teams. The Rams are very young and their two wins are not very impressive. But they played the Cowboys rival Washington Redskins close. The Cowboys have not seemed to be able to conjure up the magic of last season. Their offense has regularly looked anemic. This would be a huge win for the Rams and an abysmal loss for the Cowboys.

Bills (2-1) at Falcons (3-0)

Sunday @ 12 pm

The Falcons are one of the two last undefeated team in the league. The Bills are off to a great start, beating Denver last week was a great win for them. We will see if they are a for real team. My bet is on the Falcons crushing them.

Sunday Night Football

7:30 pm on NBC

Colts (1-2) at Seahawks (1-2)

Ugh. This game has already bored me just typing it. The Colts are terrible. They are working with a back-up quarterback when their stud, give-up-the-greatest-ever for quarterback has still yet to practice this season. The Seahawks want to be taken seriously, but they are really bad. They have no Offensive Line and their defense, which is where they put their pride and money, is not all that good.
