This weekend, #1 UConn defeated Maryland 2-1 for their 3rd Championship in five years in Women’s Field Hockey. UConn was perfect this season with 22 wins. Maryland, who had to beat #2 Duke and #3 Maryland to make it to the Championship Final finished second with a 16-7 season record.
