Army (8-3) vs. Navy (6-5)

It’s an American tradition, one that Navy has dominated of late. But Army comes in with the better record this year. It is one of my favorite college football games of the year.

The Heisman Award

The best college football player will be awarded the Heisman Trophy on Sunday. The three finalists are:

Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

Mayfield is the favorite. He has had the most high profile wins and is on the best team. The Sooners will play for the National Championship in the College Football Playoff. Mayfield has had some negative attention throughout the season and few believe he is not a NFL ready quarterback, but in the end I do not think it will matter.

Lamar Jackson QB Louisville

Jackson won this award last year, but his team has been irrelevant. Still he has put up some amazing stats this season.

Bryce Love RB Stanford

He has 1973 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, all making him worthy of this finalist position. But not enough to put him ahead of Mayfield.
